  • REFUND POLICY

    CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES 

    I. When the CCC cancels a class, workshop, or event: The Community Creative Center  (“CCC”) may cancel classes or workshops: A). when enrollment minimums are not met; B). as health and safety concerns dictate; or, C). for unforeseen events beyond the CCC’s control.   If the CCC cancels a class, students can choose either a full refund of class fees, or a full credit to be used toward another CCC class or product.    

    II. When a Student Cannot Attend a Class, or Workshop (other than summer camp, birthday parties or special events--see below):  The responsibility to attend scheduled classes and workshops rests exclusively with students; the CCC will not be held responsible if a student cannot attend a class or workshop.  Fees are non-refundable. In the event of extenuating circumstances, hardship or emergency--as defined by the CCC and at the sole discretion of the CCC--a refund may be offered.  In the event of an emergency, hardship, or other extenuating circumstance, the student shall notify the CCC staff in writing that they: A). are not able to attend the class or workshop; or B). wish to drop the class or workshop.  Failure to provide notice within 24 hours of the scheduled class or workshop will result in automatic forfeiture of fees.  Staff will assist students who wish to file a Letter of Hardship/ Refund Request, if applicable, after initial written notice is received.  After proper notice is received, students will be informed of the CCC’s decision by phone or email within 5 business days.  In the event the CCC decides to issue a full or partial refund of any fees, a 3.5% cancellation processing fee will be applied. 

    III. Classes cancelled for inclement weather:  Classes cancelled for inclement weather:  Classes cancelled by the CCC due to inclement weather will be rescheduled when possible, or if rescheduling is not possible, the CCC will offer students a prorated credit to be used toward another CCC class, workshop, or product.  Refunds will not be offered. 

    IV. Birthday Parties and Special Events Cancellation:  Deposits for Birthday Parties and Special Events are non-refundable.  Additional Fees: Parties and events canceled more than 2 weeks prior to the event will incur no additional fees.  Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the event will incur an additional $25 charge, and cancellations made within 48 hours of the event time will be charged 50% of rate to cover supplies, instructor fees and room preparation.  Failure to pay said fees will result in the party being blocked from engaging in future events at the CCC. 

    V. Summer Camp Cancellation and Refund Policy:  Summer Camp fees and tuition will be refunded if written notice of cancellation is submitted by the parent at least 10 business days prior to the camp start date;  a 3.5% cancellation processing fee will apply. Written cancellations made less than 10 business days and up to 24 business hours prior to start of camp are eligible for a 50% refund.  Refund requests made within 24 business hours of the start date are not eligible for refund; no refunds will be issued after camp begins, and no prorated refunds will be given for students who miss days or do not attend the full camp, subject to the provisions of section II above. 


  • PHOTO RELEASE

    By registering for classes, you are granting Community Creative Center permission to use any images taken of you, your child/children, and other registered participants in various publications as well as promotional materials.  Any public photos posted on Social Media of Community Creative Center activities/programs are also subject to use for promotional materials or social media posts.

  • MINORS ON CAMPUS

    Parents or guardians are required to fill out paperwork for minors attending an all-day camp at Community Creative Center. Please download the PDF linked below to fill out. Email the completed form or bring a physical copy with you on the first day of camp. If you do not complete the paperwork before this time, we will ask you to fill out a paper copy before dropping your child off.

    CCC Participant Code of Conduct

    1. Scope & Jurisdiction

    This policy applies to all Participants (students of any age, studio members, and adults acting on their behalf) across all CCC Premises and Activities, including the Nadine Baum Studios, the Wheel Mobile, online spaces, and off-site events.


    The CCC reserves the right to deny service, terminate privileges, or dismiss any participant who fails to meet these behavioral standards, without issuing a refund.


    2. Prohibited Conduct

    Participants must obey all laws and CCC rules. Prohibited behaviors include:


    Harm & Harassment: Physical, verbal, gestural, written, or digital abuse, threats, bullying, stalking, intimidation, or discrimination based on race, identity, culture, religion, or ability.


    Disruption: Interfering with classes, studio operations, administrative duties, emergency services, or computer networks.


    Property Damage & Theft: Stealing, damaging, or tampering with artwork, equipment, or facilities.


    Safety & Restricted Areas: Entering the kiln room without permission, handling dry glaze materials unsafely, or possessing weapons on-site.


    Substance Use: Unauthorized alcohol, illegal drugs, or controlled substances on premises.


    Non-Compliance & Deception: Refusing staff directions, providing false info, or making false reports.


    3. Misbehavior Categories & Responses

    Minor Misbehavior: Running, yelling, mild horseplay, non-threatening disruption, or handling equipment unsafely that stops when corrected.


    Action: Staff gives a verbal redirection. No incident report is required if corrected immediately.


    Moderate Misbehavior: Repeated minor misbehavior after a warning (or repeated behavior within 30 days for studio members).


    Action: Staff orders the behavior to stop and files an incident report by the end of the day. Education Program Manager contacts the adult or parent/guardian within 24–48 hours to issue a formal warning.


    Disruptive Behavior: Substantially disrupts programs, causes fear/threats, causes minor injury, or results in minor property damage (under $100).


    Action: Participant is removed immediately and parent/guardian or adult is notified. Results in immediate dismissal from the program without a refund. Requires written permission from the Education Program Manager to re-enroll in the future.


    Severe Misbehavior / Dangerous Conduct: Weapons, drug/alcohol violations, major theft, intentional vandalism, or behavior creating a substantial risk of serious injury or major damage (over $100).


    Action: Participant is removed to administrative offices immediately (authorities called if necessary). Results in expulsion and a permanent ban. Formal notification is issued within 12 hours via phone, email, and certified mail.


    4. Property Retrieval & Records

    Personal Belongings: Banned or dismissed participants may not re-enter premises; a designated third party must retrieve their belongings.


    Record Keeping: CCC maintains permanent logs of all incident reports and bans, cross-referencing them against future enrollments.

I'm only in town for a day, can I book studio time?

No, we do not do daily bookings.

Can I bring my friend, pet, or child with me to the CCC studios?

Only Open Studio Members are allowed guests at the CCC; no students enrolled in CCC classes may bring guests.  No pets. Each guest must pay a $10 day pass fee.

I'm signed up for a class but will need to miss one. Can I attend another class or send a friend in my place?

Due to occupancy limits and the continuity of each class's workflow, only the registered student may attend class. Please refer to our cancellation policy here.

Can I come into the studio outside of my class time to practice?

Yes! Currently enrolled students may access the studio during scheduled practice hours.

What kind of firings do you offer?

Students should expect to wait around 2 weeks to receive their pieces.

Can I bring my own glazes?

Glazes must be pre-approved by the CCC Studio Manager/Tech to ensure they will not damage the kilns, your work, or the work of others.
